10 Minutes to Happy

If you're waiting around for something to make you happy - you have a loooong wait.

Losing weight, getting the job, finding the love of your life, winning the lottery will not make you happy.

But there is one thing that studies show you happier - at least 25% happier. (That's walking around happy for 6 whole hours more a day.)

This thing can actually boosts your immunity and helps to alleviate anger, disappointment, and frustration.

It’s even been shown to heal pain and illness in your body. It can certainly heal relationships and your body.

That one thing is:


Amazing things happen when you integrate gratitude into your life; when you practice gratitude daily.

But how? With all you have going on, with all your disappointments, hurts, trials, and tribulations, how do you practice gratitude?

Try this:

  1. Sit down, spine straight and breathe in deeply. Imagine your filling your heart. Stay with this, focus and begin to give thanks for your life. Give thanks for anything that pops into your head. No filter, just give thanks for it and show appreciation.

  2. Think about five things to be grateful for on this day. See these events as pictures. It may be the way your dog greets you or that nice person that let you have the parking space in the crowded lot. It could even be seeing the sun shine through your window, or birds fly to their nests as darkness comes. Just let the images flow in and notice the feelings they give. If an unwanted image pops in, let it pass like a random car on the road. If it is important, you can think about it later.

  3. Now, see the people behind the images you are grateful for and express thanks to each of them.

  4. Remind yourself that whatever you focus on expands. When you focus on gratitude and positivity, you will get more of that in return.

What you appreciate, appreciates. 

Be aware, mindful, that you will attract more abundance, love, and health by

being grateful for your where you are right now... Your body, your health, and your relationships can only be improved by this.

If you feel stressed, unhappy, unappreciated I’m urging you to take just 10 minutes out of your day to do this.

You don’t have the time? You’re busier than most?  

Then you need this more than most. You’ll be grateful you started.          

And It still leaves you with 1430 minutes to do everything else. Now, it’s your turn.
