Your child's needs come first.

From tackling personal decisions to reaching important milestones, my goal is to guide your child on the path of success. As a professional Educator. I’m fueled by my commitment to excellence and go the extra mile to make sure I give my all.

I am a mom, an educator, and a certified integrative coach.

I can’t remember not wanting to teach. It was my favorite game to play - lining my siblings, friends, dolls, whatever up and “teaching” them whatever it was that I had learned that day.

My life’s work has been in Education. When I started as a classroom teacher over 40 years ago, there was a holistic approach to education, making sure all a child’s needs were met - social, emotional, academic. We taught, along with reading, writing, and ‘rithmatic,  the skills that needed to build confidence and self-esteem.

We developed each child’s unique abilities.

We celebrated their successes and talents, and had “co-operative learning centers” to build their skills in all areas.

And I lived through the shift.

We are light years away from that holistic approach now.

I’ve seen the emphasis go from a holistic approach - educating the whole child, making sure all the needs of students were met, to being hyper-focused on grades and test scores - often ignoring the individuality of each student and the basics of child development to push a pre-determined agenda ahead. Grades, not children, are the focus.

There is no time to develop the skills necessary to build confidence and self-esteem.

The result is that many students are struggling - struggling with grades, with relationships, with being bullied or not fitting in, with anxiety, with low self-esteem, and issues of self-worth.

And parents don't know how to help them.

So, I’ve made it my mission to help kids. I took all the knowledge and experiences I've accumulated and created programs that work.

We get to the root of the issues and develop the confidence and skills needed to overcome them. I am committed to helping each child to shine.

And, I help parents learn how to support their kids long term.

Combine my more than 40 years of classroom teaching experience, my training and experience as a certified coach, my experience as a mother of four, and you have someone who is uniquely qualified to help children to sift through the noise and know their worth.

"There is always a moment in childhood when the door opens and lets the future in."
