Confident Families is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and their adults. We deliver programs and services that give children and their parents the skills of confidence, self- esteem, and help them overcome obstacles that come their way. To allow children to maximize their potential, Confident Families offers individual, small group, in-person coaching for children, online virtual support for parents, and keynote speaking and workshops for groups. By committing to a higher quality of service and professionalism and including support for all family members, we set a standard of excellence when it comes to raising happy, confident, successful children and creating tomorrow’s leaders.
Why is it that some kids have “it” and some kids don’t? That take-on-any-task, can-do, master-of-all attitude.
And what, exactly, is “it”?
I assert that “it” is confidence. And some kids have it because they learned it. Confidence is a skill that is learned - just like tying shoes or playing the piano. And it can be taught from a very young age.
